Who Am I?
Hello! My name is Sarah and I am 29 years old. I have a 4 year old, Daniel, who is the craziest and sweetest little boy in the whole world. And he’s so smart – I swear he is always one step ahead of me, which is great. He definitely keeps me on my toes!
My boyfriend’s name is Mike. I know my website is called the Keto “wife.” Well. One day that will be true, and I didn’t want to change everything when that day finally rolls around. Which, it will be sooner rather than later.
I have never been obese, but since high school I’ve always been overweight and I’ve struggled with losing weight for the last 11 years. I yo-yo, try new diets, try new diet products, try new workouts, etc, and nothing seems to work for me. I either quit whatever program I was on – or gained the weight back after I finished. I was tired of the fluctuations and plateaus. I was tired of going to the gym every day of the week and seeing minimal changes. The gym is tough – and when the reward for your hard work doesn’t show.. It kills the motivation.
Then I discovered the Keto diet – and let me tell you…it has been a game changer. This is the easiest, and most rewarding diet program I have ever tried. The weight literally melts off and the changes I am seeing is the motivation I need to keep doing what I’m doing. Because whatever I am doing… well.. It’s working.
So, because of the success I have found in such a short period of time, I wanted to publicly share with hopes of helping someone else finally find a plan that works. A plan that doesn’t come with an autoship, or an enrollment fee. A plan that doesn’t require a pill or a 5-7 day strict workout routine. A plan that will work.
What Is Keto?
The Keto diet is quickly gaining popularity across the globe – and for good reason. The Keto diet is a low carb – high fat diet. Eating very low carb causes the body to produce ketones in the liver that will be used for energy. Ketones are produced when fats are broken down in the liver.
When you eat something that has a lot of carbs, instead of producing ketones, your body produces glucose and insulin.

When eating a diet high in carbs, glucose is used as the primary source of energy. Your fats are not needed, and therefore stored. When you lower your carb intake, your body runs out of its glucose stores and begins to use your stored fats as fuel. When this happens, your body is in the state of Ketosis.
When food intake is low, your body initiates the natural process of Ketosis. When you are in the state of Ketosis, your body is producing ketones. The objective when starting the Keto diet is toget your body into Ketosis. Your overall food intake isn’t low, but you are starving your body of carbohydrates. You are taking away the option to use glucose for fuel.
Our bodies naturally adapt to whatever is put into them. When you take away a source of fuel, it finds another source, a better source, of energy. When you enter into the state of Ketosis, and you become fat-adapted, your body will burn ketones for energy, meaning your body will run on your fat stores. When you are producing an optimal level of ketones you will notice many benefits including weight loss, mental clarity, increased performance, and better health.
